  First J-58 engine run (BB)
• 21 Apr 1958
  First mention of Archangel (became A-12) in Kelly Johnson's dairy (LSW)
• 29 Aug 1959
  CIA accepts A-12 design (LSW; BB)
• 3 Sep 1959
  CIA ok's project "Oxcart" studies (LSW)
• Nov 1959
